About the Artwork: "The Explorer"
I captured this majestic photo inside an ice cave beneath Iceland’s Breiðamerkurjökull glacier, during my very first time entering the heart of a glacier. After a rugged 4x4 journey and an ascent up the ice, my guide and I reached a cave that had only recently reopened after years of inaccessibility. The morning had begun with bad weather, and my initial exploration plans were cancelled, but by late afternoon the skies cleared and golden light poured through the clouds. What began as disappointment turned into rare fortune. As I stepped inside, the experience was overwhelming. Millennia-old ice surrounded me in a cathedral of blue. This image marks a turning point in my journey, a memory of where my passion for landscape photography evolved into something lasting.

The Explorer is part of a strictly limited edition of 50 prints across all formats and sizes. No additional runs will be produced. Each piece is hand-signed and individually numbered (e.g. "Print 17 of 50") on the Certificate of Authenticity.
